Welcome to “the Club”!

New Name; New Website, with the same Great members!!

In 1999 enthusiastic cyclists started the Hill Country Bicycle Touring Club because it was felt that a bicycle club was needed in the San Antonio area that had more emphasis on all levels of riding ability. Our rides are moderate, ranging in the 10 to 14 mph average. Most of our rides are leader-led, and we leave no one behind. We are a very social club – we have several picnics, parties and overnight events throughout the year.

We also offer regular weekday rides in the mornings and evenings (15-30 mile rides). Longer rides are offered on weekends (20-50 miles).

Over the years the club has evolved into more than just cycling; it has become more of an adventure club. While our focus is still mainly on bicycle touring, now it also includes other outdoor adventures like; boating, kayaking, hiking, bird watching, camping, extended out-of-the-area tours, foreign travel, cruising, etc.

So, we added the word ADVENTURE to our title and changed our logo just a little.
